Workers transport thousands of colourful watermelons piled onto boats at a bustling riverside market. The largest of the 50 boats can fit up to 500 of the fruit which are then unloaded and transferred by workers into waiting delivery vans.

The melons weigh between five and 20 kilograms, and each day up to 100,000 of them are transported for sale at markets across Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
